I don't normally like to share Transformation related artwork on the Fireball front page lately due to it being a smidgen difficult for TF Art Haters to find by posting it on my front page alone, but I need content for an important announcement and here it be. So if you are one of those aforementioned TF Art Haters, no one is forcing you to look at the following commission but yourself. ANYWAY. Two orders of business. I'm making room for five commission spots. Everyone else on the staff, do not worry, I'm sure they'll be filled by either Mankey or Renner in about a minute. XD;; Next up! You all remember how I said I was moving out of Ame's place come mid May? Yeah, that day is fast approaching. With any luck it'll be sometime within the next two days when I'm off from work to actually move stuff, but definitely sometime after the 15th, I will be rocking solo. Now what that means is that since it's going to take everything I have financially to pay off rent, electricity, and gas, there's a stupendous chance that I won't have my own personal internet connection for a very, very, VERY long time. Don't worry, though! As far as my obligations to both the site and Commission Shop customers, I will still be able to supply. There are plenty of places around that offer WiFi connections, closest of which being the local McDonalds. I suppose once every week, I swing by, get a double cheeseburger so I'm not loitering, and upload what COLD pages are due and everything else that I have to share. This more hurts things like checking and responding to email or any sort of other communication people may have with me. Those who email me know that I am quick to respond, always keeping a Gmail tab on Firefox open in case someone surprises me (if not that, then the GMail Notifier). Through this move, I'm not going to be able to be as responsive as I normally am and I ask you to bear with me on that fact considering the circumstances. Sooo...yeah, I suppose that's it. I've already been semi-nonexistent these days as it is, so I guess it shouldn't be too much of a difference, now should it?
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: May 9th, 2:30 A.M. Ehhh, I've got nuthin'...
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: May 8th, 3:16 A.M. Between this and toppling that almost unforgiving madness known as Ninja Gaiden III, I've been on quite a roll in the past twenty-four hours. Getcher wallets out. I plot on opening a few (Read: FEW) more spots soon.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: May 5th, 11:00 P.M. In this week's COLD update, everyone's pissed off at Speedy!
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: May 1st, 12:22 A.M.
Psy, Wil, sorry, but all things considered, I couldn't resist, heh. XD
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 30th, 1:37 A.M. Hey, this commission came out interesting. SWIMMIN' THE DEEP SEAS OF THE INTARWEBZ
Diskmaster Commission: Part The Third
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 27th, 12:37 A.M. Having finished some practice pieces, commissions, and otherwise important projects, I thought I'd take the time to finish a pic I had sketched in an age ago for a familiar face that got a new face...face face. Oh, and this goes out to all the Commission Shop customers out there, but just as Ame is moving to a new place, so too am I in mid May. I'm not opening new spots up YET, this has more to do with the current queue of orders. If you see the outdated to-do list that I don't update anymore floating around anywhere and see the commission queue on there, yet see that I am taking care of whatever orders that are on there OUT OF order, do not fret, I am not skipping over people without a reason. For the time being, I'm trying to take care of orders on the list that can be done faster than others in order to make new spots available before the move date. I apologize to any customers this may affect, but this is only until I move into my new place. After that, it's first come, first serve as usual. Thank you for understanding, if you indeed understand.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 23rd, 1:01 A.M. Don't know what I was thinking when I made these, but the cell shading practice was fun to do and I'm digging the background in the Sapphire one.
Dizzy Devil Kitty
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 21st, 12:37 A.M. I left off at a rather cliffhangerish part of COLD last time, didn't I? Well, wonder no more, for here is Guido's big, if not obvious by this point, announcement.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 13th, 12:27 A.M. Behold, the wonders of an EASY commission. XD
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 12th, 12:27 A.M. Here's another art update. One random fanart and another Mankey commission. Another high detail Mankey commission. The last of three. I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE BOY
Hazel Also, I wanted to mention this during that last COLD update, but I was retarded. Did you all know that in less than a month will be the year anniversary of Samurai Pizza Cats: COLD? Boy, does time fly. I still remember doing the first ten pages that comprised of the opening theme song and that didn't seem like so long ago. Will I do anything special? Aside from the colored page every 100th page or otherwise special occassion, probably not. My point is that having done icons for various different Fireball20XL series-es, I find myself asking...WHERE THE HELL ARE MY COLD ICONS, DAMMIT? XD I kid, I kid, I kid. I couldn't resist. If anyone feels up to it, by all means, but really, I'm just kidding around.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: April 9th, 12:00 A.M. Right, here's the COLD update that woulda happened last week if I hadn't been, yanno...at Wrestlemania. Which kicked ass, by the way, thanks again, Mankey. I also made this random Renner fanart while I was over there. I wanted to wait until I had more artwork page stuff to post it with, buuuuuuuut egh. Moot point at this juncture, but all the same, merry 100th, Teekster.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 24th, 11:41 P.M. OKAY here's another wonderful Wise Mankey commission for you all! May just be his last, too, because if he ever orders anything like this and the last one ever again, I will KEEL HEEM SOH HOARD! THAT THE NEXT MANKEY WANNABE. EES GUNNA FEEL EET. I'M KIDDING GOD The Wise Mankey Commission: Part the Twenty Second This MIGHT be familiar to some of you. NOW THEN, before I forget again, I will not be doing COLD this week as aforementioned Mankey is inviting me to his native Florida to attend Wrestlemania 24. Once I get back, sure. This week, FURGEDIT.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 23rd, 1:56 A.M. Filler art, filler art, lovely filler art. Hey, I'm finally putting the new site to it's intended use! GOOD FOR ME! Current commissions are monsters, they'll come soon. And speaking of, I'm no longer taking any more orders for the time being.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 18th, 5:01 A.M. All the Brawl in the world can't keep the Pizza Cats down! Everything ELSE I have to do, yes, but the PIZZA CATS, nonononoNO. ... LOVE ME.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 13th, 3:38 A.M. Ooh, lookit the pretty new site design. It's not the best design I could muster, but it works...or rather, it doesn't work 100% yet. Yeah, I'm still trying to tinker around with what Renner has given me, so a great load of the site might be out of whack until then. Just a heads up. Not a lot has changed otherwise. In the meantime, check this out. I made the original art for the banner for the TRG page, but I liked it so much that I made it into a wallpaper.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 9th, 8:38 P.M. So, who DOESN'T have Brawl? XD The Wise Mankey Commission: Part The Twenty First Oh, and just a note regarding the donation drive bar on the side, but due to an upcoming move later on the way, I've raised the total to fill it to $200 opposed to the usual $100. Just in case anyone was curious as to why the current total is so low on the meter.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: March 6th, 1:00 A.M. Speedy Cerviche to the Kirbbot: SHUT UP KIRB. Damn. Damn, damn, DAMN, I really wanted to have this all up before midnight. BUT if you take a look into this special FOUR PAGE installment, you'll see why I am late. Enjoy.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: February 22nd, 2:37 A.M. Huh, maybe I should have held off until I made this to update.
WARNING: WEIGHT GAIN ART. And with this, I can announce that I am now taking ten new commission shop orders. Get them while you can.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: February 22nd, 12:37 A.M. Sara Johnson Commission: Part The Fourth
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: February 19th, 12:12 A.M. No, that ain't right.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: February 13th, 1:45 A.M.
So, is everyone ready for Brawl Yeah, uh...sorry for the lack of existance on my part during the past week or so. But you'll be happy to know that my little vacation is over! Never taking one of THOSE again. And you might know what that means. In a week or so's time, the return of the Samurai Pizza Cats! I know someone's gotta be hyped for that. But while we wait and to give this update some meat, here are some art pieces I've done over the dead period that you haven't seen at my defunct art pages.
The Creators - TTA Special Fanart Also, the mini revamp of my site is going along will thanks to aforementioned Renner. The main page is already done. All we've got to do is make two more, tweak around another, and everything should be solid. So keep an eye out.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: February 1st, 1:59 A.M. Dim Commission: Part the Second
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 30th, 9:45 A.M. Huh, I'm on a rock. ROLL IT.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 30th, 2:45 A.M. More random arts. IT'S ALL I'VE BECOME But HEY, THIS one is special! See if it jogs some memories.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 25th, 12:45 A.M. Some random arts.
Big Nasty "4" Sheet
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 22th, 2:45 A.M. Not the usual three pages, but FOUR! Four new pages of COLD! Because I'm that kinda guy. :D .... What'chu all lookin' at me like there's some kinda catch? All right, all right, you got me. I've got the okay to take the next update off, so we won't be seeing the Cats again for at least a month considering the two-week bit. Gonna use this time to catch up on other projects. So enjoy the super update and I'll see you guys later.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 14th, 2:00 A.M. Commission spots are filled. Lemme alone.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 13th, 7:17 P.M.
Roger64 Commission: Part The Ninth. Now that that's taken care of, I can announce that I have five open spots on my commission queue (It may not LOOK as such, but hey, I already have a lot XD). Let's see how fast they go this time. XD;;
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 8th, 3:41 A.M. M.A.X Commission: Part The Second.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: January 6th, 1:47 A.M.
RANDOM QUOTE OF THE DAY: December 31st, 3:16 A.M. AH HA. DID IT. I said that I was going to be able to make the next two TRG episodes before the end of the year and so I have. Right. Now that that's finally over with, I can get on with the announcement I planned to make. I know that video I was in a few days ago did it absolutely no justice, so I shall repeat it all here as first intended. Now then. I don't think I need to explain that times are tough. I've made all the empty promises, the hopes for a more constant influx of comics for each of my serieses, but once and for all, I seriously think it's time to do what I should have done a long time ago and start pulling some plugs. It's pretty bad when you can only do, like...TEN comics a year, and that's putting it ever so nicely. So here's what I shall be doing. Author Space. All Plots Aside. 4-KOMA. The Fallout Shelter. Dead. These four serieses were never meant to really go anywhere, more like filler to have something on the site while the main comics were being worked on, but when you can't even do THOSE anymore, you know it's gotten pretty bad. Sweet Revenge. Cancelled. I apologize, but I can't say I'm as proud and hopeful of the overall story as I once was. Thinking over it, it just isn't going anywhere at all. You'll soon see what I mean as, like Kirbopher did with his final season of TTA, I intend to construct a "What Would Have Been" as my final act for SR, detailing what would have happened and accompanied with respective art for some of the more important scenarios. Obviously, I'll still work on Samurai Pizza Cats: COLD. And The Rouge's Gallery, I fully intend on finishing this goddamn story arc AND TRG 300. And once those are over, I intend to return it back to what it once was intended to be: my own little random comic hub. Basically, I'm taking what I made into APA and returning it to it's original home. I know there are a lot of people who might be saddened or upset by this turn of events, both old Rogueamaniacs and the new ones that have been popping up lately. I appreciate that even after five years of irregular updates, you all still support me and my work to no end. However, this decision has been one I have wrestled with for months on end and it's high time to make a decision. Any and all ideas I had back during the comics' prosperous times, I dislike now to want to do them, and there's nothing worse for an artist than forcing yourself to put your ideas down on paper...well, there may be worse, but that's just one scenario appropriate to this situation. And it's not only that. Working on such things as COLD, the commissions, and various other things have made me realize that I like using what artistic talent I have for others more than I do for myself (which isn't to say that I WON'T be drawing for myself anymore. PUH). Getting rid of the burden of five comics that need updates and never will see them will give me the time and focus I need to do such things. And if I have a comic idea, I can just make it, slap it here in TRG, and be done with it. So. There it is. I still need to work on redoing the site somehow to match these changes, which will be tough since I know very, VERY little site coding, but that is the state of TRG Productions and what the future holds as far as what I bring to the table. Naturally, the five dead comics will still be available for your reminiscing pleasure, both now and whenever this site gets overhauled. Nevertheless, I thank you all for being there during my initial run and will still be here for whatever art I cough up. It was a blast and I will miss doing these strips, but you know the old saying about all good things.
