Comics

You've seen it done for a few commissions, you may have thought to yourself "Hey, I want a comic done, too!". Well, now is your chance. I am now offering comic pages up for commision. And here's how it's done and what you should do to make it happen.

If you wish to commission me for a comic, before anything, create the script before you send it to me. Or if you want, you can talk to me about it through the order email and we'll figure out what goes where together. Regardless of what you do, I cannot create a price unless I know what's going on in the comic you want me to draw.

Once you have that, choose the quality style you want the comic done in. Once we have that, we'll take a look at what we've gotten as far as character count. For the purpose of example, we'll take a look at Jotaro Kujouk's 11th. It's done in the soft shading style, so we'll keep that in mind. Jotaro herself was drawn five times, the laundry worker once and Spin once as well. That's a count of seven characters. Even though Jotaro was in the majority of the comic, she still showed up multiple times and as such, I had to draw her multiple times. We take those seven 'characters' and multiply it by the character pricing of the style, then add the $5 Uberdetail charge since comics can be a lengthy process, trust me.

If this order was purchased at the time of these CURRENT prices, Jotaro would have payed...

Soft Shading: $13

Seven Characters: $28

Uberdetail: $5

TOTAL: $46

...for this comic. See how it's done now? If you have further questions, feel free to ask me about anything.

Here's a few little details and rules you should take note of as well.

- In the case of multiple characters in singular artworks, I'll only do up to 5 characters an order.

- Be gentle with your background requests. While I am always striving to make a decent backdrop befitting a certain piece, I can't exactly put together a gigantic detailed to Hell and back cityscape or anything similar just yet.

- I will only accept USD in PayPal payments.

- You need to pay for your order first before I even start with it.

- I'll be honest with you. While I CAN do uberdetail if I put my mind and time to it, I hate it oh so much because it takes FOREVER. So if I think your order is gonna fall along the lines of uberdetailed, there'll be an additional $5 charge to whatever total any of the styles get you. THIS is a fine example of what I mean by uberdetail.

- I have a LOT of other projects to do in addition to these commissions, including running this site. Not to mention you'll probably be on a long list of buyers and unless otherwise stated, orders are on a first come, first serve basis. So be ready to wait a long time before I can get to your order. But rest assured, it WILL get done. You payed me for it, why wouldn't it be?

- Paypal likes to take out a bit of the commission money sent to me. Which is not cool. So if you could add a dollar or two to the initial deposit you make, I'd really appreciate it.<

- The comic option is not an excuse for you to get me to draw out your 400 page comic script. I'll do a short series for you, but each page will be considered a seperate commission and should be paid as such.

- I reserve the right to decline an order if I do not agree with what you are ordering. If you have already paid, I will refund the money.

- If you've paid for an order and have been waiting a long time for it to happen, you understand that you were warned this would happen and as such, I will not refund your money simply because you are impatient. You are not the only customer I get.

- Previews of the sketching process are available BY REQUEST ONLY. If you wish to see how your commission looks before I further work into it, make sure to tell me so in the initial order. Once I pass the sketching portion, there's no turning back.

- People have a habit of doing this, but please do not pay me for an order until AFTER I tally up a price. If you do it yourself, you might be missing some charges and I'd rather payments come all at once to avoid PayPal taking more than it needs to for itself.
